The nation is commemorating National Social Work Month this March and the National Association of Social Workers will celebrate its 61st anniversary in 2016.
The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) goals during Social Work Month are to educate the public about how social workers and the association have brought about major positive social changes, improved the lives of individuals and families, and will continue to do so in the future.

“Forging Solutions Out of Challenges”
From the National Association of Social Workers
“Our nation’s more than 600,000 social workers have amazing tenacity and talent.
They confront some of the most challenging issues facing individuals, families, communities and society and forge solutions that help people reach their full potential and make our nation a better place to live.
We celebrate the contributions of social workers during National Social Work Month in March.” Learn more.
